The 2020 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXII Olympiad and branded as Tokyo 2020 (2020), were an international multi-sport event held in Tokyo, Japan, from July 23 to August 8, 2021, with some preliminary events beginning on July 21.

In the Tokyo Olympics, more than 205 nations have taken part with a total number of 11,656 athletes competed for the 339 events of 33 sports.
